National museum of wildlife art
I follow the National Museum of wildlife art on facebook. A couple of days ago they posted that Sunday was free for locals, and since we are local now, we went. We’ve been to the museum before and it’s always such a great place to visit. Since Al does a lot of wildlife sculptures, he especially likes going there. Of course, I failed and didn’t take my camera, so all theses photos were taken with my phone camera. Not horrible, but not as great as I would like.
This bison sculpture is huge, and was done by one of Al’s favorite artists, TD Kelsey.
This is one of my favorite artists, Mary Roberson.
There is a wonderful variety of artists in the museum, and the displays are great. If you ever get the chance to visit, you should.
I am excited for something fun they are doing all through the summer. Every Thursday there will be yoga on the outdoor sculpture trail. I am so there.
Seems to be an really amazing museum. Painting are fascinating and as a wildlife lover I am surely going their as soon as possible. Thanks for sharing this post with us Mary.
