Some more desert pictures
We spent Saturday and Sunday with our friends, who live here, visiting some great places. On Saturday we went to Black mountain. It wasn’t really a mountain, but there were some nice petroglyphs there and some great rock formations.
I found so many awesome things to take pictures of, I felt kinda like a tourist or something. I love the colors, textures and feel of the desert.
I can’t possibly say more about these pictures, than they say themselves.
We also went to a mica mine. It’s not a mine anymore, but it was one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen. There were chunks of mica littering the ground. We then walked down into the pit and one wall of the pit is a huge vein of solid mica. These pictures really don’t show just how cool this was to see.
We also went to a place where there are dinosaur footprints in the ground, those pictures, and more, can be seen on Roxy the traveling dog today.
that one mountain looks like it has a giant pawprint on it!!

Both of these adventures look to have been so interesting. It was great to see your photos. I’ve never been to a desert and find the images throughly fascinating.
The pictures are awesome. The place must be really great.
