Farmers market,dog park,and baby moose

I’ve been to several farmers markets, mostly local ones in Utah. I have to say, the great people of Jackson Hole know how to do a farmers market. There was fresh organic produce that was either grown here, or over the mountain in Idaho. We bought some grass fed beef and pork, delicious berries, even a strawberry-rhubarb pie, Al’s favorite.
There was local artisan cheese that was delicious, to pricey for me though, but great all the same. The local bakeries where out with a great selection of bread, cookies, more pie, even quiche.

We really wished we hadn’t had breakfast before we went, there was some yummy looking food there too. Next Saturday we’ll know better and go on an empty stomach.

After the farmers market, Al stayed at the gallery and I took the dogs to the local dog park. That was fun for them, wore them right out. Roxy the traveling dog has more about that today.

On the way back home I looked down towards the river, and spotted the same mama moose I had seen 2 weeks ago. When I saw her and her twins the first time, they were pretty little and still light colored. I can’t believe how fast they grew, now they are dark colored and aren’t all legs like before. This time, thankfully, I had my small camera and was able to get a few pictures before they went into the willows.
