I decided that no matter what I was going to get my moccasins done this weekend. I finished one of them last September, and the other has been half done for months. I will want to have them to wear when we go to mountain man rendezvous, so I figured I better get with it. I have been so busing making beadwork to sell, but I need to make these just for me. They are far from perfect. But as my mom and Nana used to say…A man on a galloping horse will never know the difference. Plus, if I ever do a pair of mocs again, I know the trick to the beading.
At the time I posted this, the second moccasin needed 2 rows of beadwork, and to be put together.

There is a state park campground on the lake not far from there. Sounds great we thought, a change of scenery, on the lake, and close to work. It will be a nice week we thought. I will get some beadwork done. Then, mother nature had a different idea.
Monday was snowy, but not too cold. Then came Monday night. Wind howling, snow blowing, frozen water pipes. Not fun.
It’s April for hell’s sake, were is the sun and spring?
