Random pics of Jackson Hole

Funny, beautiful, and maybe kinda weird, it’s all in Jackson Hole

Jackson Hole is a very interesting place. People come from all over the world to visit the town, Yellowstone, and Grand Teton parks. I am posting an eclectic mix of photos today, just some random, beautiful, and out of the ordinary things I’ve seen lately.

These are some fabulous shots of the Gros Ventre river that is about 50 yards behind our trailer. The sun was shining on the water and the colorful rocks perfectly.

I also watched some bumble bees going to work on these wild flowers.

Moving away from the nature theme, these are some different things I’ve seen in the campground here.
The ginormous RV that looks like an urban assault vehicle, came all the way from Switzerland. The woman on the left is standing right next to it. The tires were as tall as my shoulders. They stayed for a few days and then left for more adventure. They are traveling the country in this, I’m sure they get great gas mileage.

This cute little trailer is being pulled by a motorcycle. I bet they get lots of looks.

We went to an artist reception in one of the galleries the other night. A few of Al’s wood working buddies have work in one of the galleries here in town. After, we heard some ice cream calling our names, so we succumbed and got some. We played tourist and went and sat in the middle of the square to eat our ice cream and watch the people go by. Jackson Hole is famous for the Cowboy bar, stagecoach rides around the block, (don’t ask me why on that one) and of course the antler arches.

And then I had to buy this cute little dark chocolate dog. Truthfully….he was cuter than he was delicious.

So much to see here, and everyday brings something new.
