Sears Dixie invitational art show
This past weekend was the opening of the Sears Dixie invitational art show. Al had the great honor of being invited to take part in this art show, and had two of his sculptures on display. “Searching for days gone by” and “The Storyteller”.
The Sears Dixie invitational art show takes place in St. George, Utah at the Dixie State college. The show is currently in it’s 24th year and features art from the top artists in Utah. Sculptures, flat art, and even ceramics are all part of the show.
These are some of my favorite pieces that were there. How in earth do you chose a favorite form all these great artists?
We were able to attend the opening night gala on Friday night. This was a fun event, and we had the opportunity to meet some of the other artists, and patrons. We also got a fabulous dinner, and entertainment.
The show is on display until March 31st. If you are in the area, you should make a point of stopping to see all the fabulous art.
I am in complete awe of Al’s talent. He is simply incredible.
