Artsy Fartsy Tuesday artist-Sheila Wedegis
Sheila Wedegis has been really nosy lately, that’s how I found her artwork. I kept seeing all these dog nose portraits popping up on the dog blogs I read. So I found Sheila’s website, and fell in love with all her work.
To see more of Sheila work, and read a little info about her, head over to Roxy the traveling dog .
How to make a dog coatOn Saturday, I did a post on Roxy the traveling dog, on how to make a cozy wool coat, or capote for your dog. I had posted some pictures on Roxy’s facebook page of her in her capote, and had some comments asking how to make one. So I did something I have never done before, I tried to explain the steps in making the coat. I am not a person who sews, so this is a pretty easy project to do. Roxy the Traveling dog. And If you would rather just buy one, I can make a custom one for your dog.
Artsy Fartsy Tuesday-Kelly Magleby and replica Anasazi pottery
Today’s Artsy Fartsy artist makes replica Anasazi pottery. Kelly follows the same techniques that the Anasazi’s used to create her wonderful pottery. The look and feel of these pieces is like artifacts I have seen in museums. This bowl below is incredible, and one of my favorites.
