We are headed to the Zion flute festival today. It’s held just outside Zion National park in the small town of Springdale. Native American flute players come from around the country to play concerts, give workshops, and some sell flutes they make. We wanted to go to the festival last year, but we had a conflict that weekend. This year I applied to be a vendor, so we are going to sell my jewelry, beadwork, and antique trade beads. I also have a friend who makes great jewelry, and I will have her stuff for sale. If you will be in the area, and you like Native American flute music, this is an event you shouldn’t miss. There will be small concerts throughout the day, and then in the evening they have the headliner concerts in the amphitheater. The festival starts Thursday, May 17th at 1:00pm. Then it will run Friday and Saturday from 10:00 – 9:00pm. For all the information about the festival, go to Zion flute festival. I hope we see you there.
